Kibla, as he is known, comes from a well built and exceptional community orientated background having worked in both Human Resources for a very well known large national organisation and as a Youth Worker in London and abroad for ten years whilst completing his legal education. In doing so Kibla has been recognised both nationally and internationally and has extensive experience in dealing with people from all different types of backgrounds and age groups, particularly youth and vulnerable clients.
Kibla prides himself on his client orientated ethos. Regardless of background, race, religion or disability he recognises that every person is different and each person has a story and it is his ability in identifying this coupled with his unquestionable commitment to legal aid and protecting the rights of individuals that makes him unique.
Kibla is a Duty Solicitor in England Wales having previously been called to the Bar in 2007 after completing a Masters in Law at the University of London. He supervises the firm's Magistrates’ Court Department where his meticulous and scrupulous organisation and approach to litigation is very much the heart-beat of the team. His ability to leave no stone unturned regularly instructing carefully selected world renowned experts when preparing defences is one such example of this approach.
Kibla predominantly defends all serious crime allegations including complex fraud and money laundering, having achieved significant and frequent acquittals in cases of murder, sexual offences, riot, drug supply, serious violence, robbery, burglary, fraud and money laundering (national and international). He frequently represents clients at the police station for such matters and provides specialist advice in relation to investigations prior to charge. Kibla is credited for setting the foundations of many defence cases at the early stages of proceedings which have lead to significant acquittals later in the Crown Court.
Kibla leads by example and keeps a busy and extensive advocacy practice at the Magistrates' court. He will regularly be the first person a client will see from the firm in the most serious cases. He appears on a daily basis for hearings across courts all over London and further, ranging from first appearances to trials. He boasts an enviable record in terms of achieving favourable results and success at trial.
