Attempted Murder Of London Bus Driver Case Discontinued

Stuart Miller Solicitors were brought in to represent a man accused of stabbing an off-duty Arriva bus driver. Our client was allegedly identified in the street by an independent witness.  Upon arrest, the police discovered blood on our client’s clothing and naturally, this increased their suspicions. We raised a defence of ‘mistaken identity’ and put the case that the blood on our client’s clothing was old and unrelated to the complainant in this case. The prosecution decided to discontinue the matter.
