Acquittal In GBH, Affray & Bladed Article Case
Criminal Defence Solicitors at this firm represented a client who entered a not guilty plea to Attempted GBH, ABH, Affray and having a Bladed Article.
On the first day of trial, the only witness that attended Court was the complainant who had made a positive identification of the client.
However, this identification was made four months after the incident and other witnesses had not attended the procedure.
The co-defendant in this case sadly entered a guilty plea but following our legal submissions, the prosecution agreed that it was not in the interests of justice to pursue to trial against our client.
Our client was acquitted of all charges. This case is a prime example of the important of skilful and intelligent legal representation, where Lawyers can advise you and when to plead guilty and when to test the prosecution case.
