Romanian Footballer Acquitted of Human Trafficking

Stuart Miller Solicitors represented two of three men charged with Human Trafficking and controlling prostitution in the UK.

The three defendants from Romania (including a professional football player) allegedly smuggled countless young Romanian women into the UK and controlled them for the purposes of sexual exploitation.

After a two-week trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court, having spent five months in custody, all three defendants were unanimously aquitted by the jury.
